Neeley Knockouts

Neeley began in the 1980's as a redass all girls crew, following the opening of Neeley Hall as an all girls dorm. Not much is known about old army Neeley, but it’s obvious by the crew’s participation that the burning desire in the heart of the dorm continued to carry on. The Neeley Knockouts rose up as one of the dorms interested in upholding the tradition of Bonfire during the early 2000’s with the Unity Project. The small crew of passionate women added men to their ranks in 2006, after Neeley became a co-ed hall. As a collective, Neeley’s members are called Knockouts - the girls are referred to as Angels and the boys are Knights. Over time, Neeley has become known for redass rowdiness, judgement-free acceptance, high log counts and an infamous grode yell.

As for the crew’s participation in Student Bonfire, Neeley tries to embrace the essence of the tradition as often as possible. The nature of Student Bonfire is gritty and raw, an experience unlike any other. Neeley acts as any other crew would - they are loud, competitive, redass and rowdy. However, unlike many organizations, the Neeley Bonfire Crew prides themselves on being one huge family unit. In Neeley, crew members are “raised” to take care of one another, rely on each other, and form unbreakable lifetime bonds impossible to find anywhere else. Always accepting new members, Neeley hosts several events on a weekly basis accessible to any Aggie willing to attend.

Neeley boasts one of the highest attendances of the active Bonfire crews over the last four seasons and has earned a perimeter pole 3 years in a row (2013, 2014, 2015).

"Neeley Knockouts - we got class,

If you don't like it, kiss our ass.

We're so hot we make 'em yell,

South side dorms can go to hell!"
